Stairway To Heaven by Jim WarrenThe Rainbow Bridge
by Paul C. Dahm

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy  and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver.

Suddenly, he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend  finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.

Skipper "Skip" Wakamiya
With profound sadness, I would like to inform you that my Skip passed away yesterday. He had acute hemangiosarcorma. He came to my life as a little puppy. Adopted from Paws Animal Rescue. He was the first and the only puppy that I have had. The past twelve years were the best part of my life. Maki Skipper, Skip, Wakamiya - 1/21/2004 - 2/5/2016

Candice
Hi We are the Parents of Candice, whom we adopted on her first day out on 2/1/04. The last nine years with our baby girl have been full of adventure. She brought much joy to us and her kitty brothers Whiskers and Jake. This morning (04/25/2013), after a brief battle with cancer, we helped Candice cross the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you so much for the wonderful gift that was Candice.

Maggie
Maggie was rescued off of the John Hartman Bridge during a rain storm. She was starved and pregnant. Her babies were bottle fed and adopted out to wonderful homes. Maggie was a wonderful mom. She died during her heartworm treatment. Please remember to keep your dog on heartworm preventative. Maggie's foster family loved her and took very good care of her.

Lori
Lori was a Torty who was born approximately 4/9/03. She was the only surviving kitten of a litter of kittens that were thrown out of a moving vehicle in the middle of Nasa Road One. Lori's top lip was torn when she hit the pavement. However, she survived and was very, very loving. Lori liked attention and when she didn't think you were giving her enough - she would play with your hair and pat your face. She really was a lap cat and loved lots of petting. Lori remained in foster care and was never adopted. She passed away in 2009 from a horrible dibilitating disease from which could not recover. This sweet tiny little girl will certainly be missed.

Kirk
Our Baby Boy - We love you Kirk and wish we could have given you more. Our hearts are heavy over losing you but we know that you are free and happy at last and that your little heart is now free. Kirk was only 2 years old when he passed away in December 2008.
