Thank you for your interest in providing a home for one of our rescued pets. Please understand that our process does not operate on a first-come basis. Our goal is to match each pet to the best family for that pet. We appreciate your patience because all our workers are volunteers with jobs and other responsibilities, we follow up as quickly as possible. SWEET and FIV+
Vesta was born 4/8/2013.
I'm a young, sweet little kitten who demands attention, yet I am well behaved. I just went to the vet where I was spayed, microchipped, and given vaccines. And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, they told me I am FIV Positive (most likely from my mother). ). I will most likely test Negative in a month or two because my siblings are testing Negative now. However, if I don't, not to worry, FIV kitties can live a long normal life. They can only infect other cats with deep puncture wounds or by breeding. I am a lover - not a fighter, and breeding has never been an issue with me. There are many households with both non-FIV and FIV cats living together with no one else ever being infected. Now that I am neutered I will certainly never be interested in the boys except to play chase with. I do minimal meowing but do purr constantly. My foster parents say that I have a high activity level because I am a kitten! I am a good girl and haven't destroyed anything yet. That is good right? I eat dry food and I even get along with the dog. Who would have believed a dog and cat can get along? I LOVE to play with anything that moves! Now, alone in the world, I'm looking for a home. I'm looking for a kind and gentle soul, willing to take in a loving kitten, down on her luck, yet eager to please. Are you the one?
