Calvin is a Black/Tan Coonhound with a docked tail. He is a laid back dude with a nice attitude! Calvin is about 3 years old and was rescued from a local shelter. He is now enjoying living inside. He is crate and house trained. He gets along well with the other dogs in the house and absolutely loves little kids! He would make a perfect companion for a family with kids, a family that lives in an apartment, or as a companion for an older person or couple. He loves to go for walks and is a perfect gentleman on the leash - no pulling or tugging at all. He is nice and quiet and would love to be a lap puppy! His adoption fee of $175 covers his neuter surgery, heartworm treatment, rabies, yearly vaccine, and Bordatella for Kennel Cough prevention. Come meet this cool dog!

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Special Needs: Calvin has heartworms and is currently being treated. This treatment will last for 3 months during which he will need to be kept calm and walked on a leash. Please consider a donation for his treatment. Thanks! UPDATE Feb 6, 2007: Calvin just received his 2nd and 3rd shots for his heartworm treatment. He only has 30 more days of quiet time, and then he can return to a normal life. UPDATE March 6, 2007: Calvin has been successfully treated to rid him of heartworms. He can now lead a normal, happy life!
