Tracey is a sweet momma cat about 1 yr. old.Tuxedo color,with 6 5 week old kittens.I noticed her coming out close to the road to drink water,on my way back and forth to work.I noticed her belly had dropped so I knew there were kittens nearby.No one at the trailer lot knew anything about themso my concern was where were the kittens? It turns out, they were up in a divided double-wide setting by the road to be moved that coming week end.It was Friday so I asked my volunteer,Debra to check on her,put out food and fresh water over the week-end. MOM is very sweet and was so glad to see food coming,Who knows what she was existing on.Debra and Jodell were able to rescue her and the 6 kittens that following Tues.All went to the vet's to be examined.Surprisingly,all got a clean bill of health,except for Momma's broken Canine tooth. Kittens are soooo cute, 3 Black tabby females and 2 solid gray and one like mom males.They are still nursing, but eating kitten dryand moist more and more so should be available soon.Try to have photos soon.Mom tested negative for Leuk/FIV and will have her spay/tooth removal surgery in about 10 days.
